Hong Kong

Golden Computer Arcade

Sham Shui Po

Last night I went The Golden Computer Arcade/Golden Computer Centre

It is located opposite Sham Shui Po MRT Station (Exit D2).

Lots of good deals on electronics, biggest sellers seemed to be laptops,

displays, and anything you may need for your computer.

Prices were good and you could bargain about 10%-15%

If you need any electronics, it is a great place to go in Hong Kong.

For cost comparisons:
EEE cost was 2,990 at several stores for 4gb and 3,890 for the 8gb version

It was very busy in the small store, but his reputation as the best Tailor in HK draws the people in.

If anyone is intersted the address is below:

You need to set up an appointment for a fitting.

Session 2 Technology Innovation

Today I learned about Wikis and the power of collaboration. Although I have been exposed to these in the past, the key takeaway of todays session was the value that these can provide to workgroups.

It first requires a culture shift to from the soon-to-be old school business model where a document bounces around from uses to user, each one changes it incrementally, rendering all previous versions stale.

The beauty of the wiki model is that the document is "alive" and all participants are empowered to change the document at any time. There is no longer a file that moves from user to user, instead there is a central file which all users have access to and can edit, update, correct or review. The quality of the information improves and updates over time.

Here are the results of the Jelly Bean Exercise:
